Obituary: Fred V. Grover, 51, Bagley businessman, died at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since January.
Mr. Grover, a former Clearwater County Commissioner was engaged in construction work. He lived at 212 North Main Street, Bagley.
He was born at Park Rapids September 9, 1911, and his marriage to Sarah Larson took place in Bagley, January 1, 1936.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Sidney of International Falls and John of Bagley; his mother, Mrs. Harry Riggs of Bagley; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Higdem, (Myrtle) of Bagley, Mrs. W. G. Jones (Marie) and Mrs. Agnes Johnson of California; four brothers, Thomas Grover of Milwaukee, Donovan of Ashby, Wilfred of Richfield and Clair of Austin; two grandchildren. A daughter and his father preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Bagley, Thursday (Today) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Winston Grant will officiate and burial will be in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
Reviewal will be at the Church from 1 to 2 p.m.
