  • Obituary: «b»Gary A. Angevine «/b»1944-2013 It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Gary Angveine, age 68, of Kolbec, NS. Gary passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Oxford, he was a son of the late Elvin and Mary (Barnes) Angevine. Gary worked most of his life as a lumberman. He will be sadly missed by his wife Roberta, Wallace; daughters, Sharon (Bernard) Hunt, Bayhead, Debra (John) Cameron, Oxford, Lisa (Allan) MacEachern, Amherst and Kelly Stonehouse, Truro; their mother Thelda Patriquin Angevine, Truro; step children, Harold Steele, Wallace, Leonard Steele, Oxford, Ronald Steele, Wallace Bay, David Steele, Springhill, Virgina (Bernard) Leger, Kingston, ON, Shelly (Mike) Reese, Ship Harbour, NS and Stanley (Fallon) Steele, Advocate Harbour; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Johnson, Malagash, Kathleen (Ron) Parks, Ontario. He was predeceased by his daughters Susan Angevine-Patriquin and Julie Angevine; grandsons Nathaniel MacNutt, Jordan Cameron; sister Dorothy Gallagher; brother Cyril Angevine; second wife, Julia Fisher Angevine; step-son Elmer Steele. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford (902-447-2167) where visiting hours will take place on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take palce on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 3:30 pm, Pastor Chris Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. All are invited back to W Allen Funeral Home after the burial for a time of tea and fellowship. The funeral service can be viewed by visiting his obituary on the W Allen Funeral Home website.
