Born in Riverview, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Christina (Weatherbee) Ayles. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years as a cook at the East Cumberland Lodge in Pugwash. She enjoyed doing different crafts and was an avid quilter and reader. She also enjoyed playing Skipbo. Surviving are her husband, Gary A. Angevine; daughters, Donalda Lepper (Sandy), New Annan, Colchester Co.; Darlene Fisher, Dartmouth; Loretta Fisher, Dartmouth; son, Mitchell Fisher, Alberta; stepdaughters, Sharon Hunt (Bernard), Malagash, Cumblerland Co.; Debbie Cameron (John), Oxford; Lisa MacEachern (Allan), Pugwash; Kelly Stonehouse (David), Bayhead, Colchester Co.; Susie Patriquin (Brad), Collingwood, Cumberland Co.; a number of grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; half-sister, Vera Middleton, Salisbury, N.B.; brothers, Clayton Ayles, Middleton, Pictou Co.; Ross Ayles, Fredericton, N.B.; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by sons, Jimmy Fisher and Tony Fisher; stepdaughter, Julie Angevine in infancy; stepgrandchildren, Nathan McNutt and Jordan Cameron. Visitation will be this evening, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, both in Allen's Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, Rev. Edgar Patriquin officiating. Interment will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, North Cumberland Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice.
