  • Obituary: DEATH: Source: Chronicle Herald Published Wednesday, August 6, 1991 DEATH: MURPHY, Clara Belle --- 97, Wolfville, died Tuesday in Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in West Bay, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late William and Eliza (Phinney) Krumrei. While a resident of Wolfville for many years, she was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the ACW. She was a 50-year member and past deputy president of Horton Rebekah Lodge 111. She was a recipient of the Degree of Chivalry. During the Second World War, she was a volunteer worker with Red Cross. She is survived by six sons: Reginald, Roy, George, all of Wolfville; Paul, Cocoa Beach, Florida; Avard, Naples, Florida; Eric, Truro; a daughter: Louise, Mrs. Walter Davidson, New Minas; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; two sons: Cyril, Vernon; three brothers: William, Frederick, Herbert; three sisters: Meta, Lena, Martha. The body is in H. C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Wolfville, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where Horton Rebekah Lodge will hold a service 7 p.m. Funeral will be 11 am. Thursday in St. John's Anglican Church. Wolfville, Archdeacon Douglas Hergett and Canon C. H. Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Willowbank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church or Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital.
