Colpitts Jr. died on Sunday November 12, 2017. Born in Lynn Hospital in 1952, he leaves his mother Lydia (Hoyt) Colpitts and his father Donald F. Colpitts Sr., both of Lynn. He attended Eastern Jr. High and graduated with the class of 1967, and then graduated from Lynn Trade High School in June 1970. He took the Apprentice Program at General Electric and became a welder. He leaves his parents and one brother David H. Colpitts of Lynn and was the brother of the late Mark Joseph Colpitts who died in January 2007 and one sister Lisa Hill. Donald is also survived by his daughter Dawn Marie (Colpitts) Darwish and her husband Ben Obada Darwish, of Lynnfield, and his two grandchildren Alex and Michael, he also leaves his son Jason Colpitts and his wife Candace, of Lynn. Donalds family wish to thank Shanel Anderson of Eliot and the Solimine Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12pm-1pm in the Solimine Funeral Home 426 Broadway (RTE129), Lynn, followed by Graveside Services at Pine Grove Cemetery.
