FUNERAL OF MRS. BEARDSLEY
The funeral of Mrs. R. A. Beardsley was held from the Baptist church on Sunday, Rev. B. F. Irving preaching the sermon. Interment was made at Greenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Beardsley was born in Winona County in 1856, and has always been a resident of this state. She was first married to Jefferson Grover in 1871, with whom she made her home in Park Rapids for several years. Mr. Grover dying thirteen years ago. To Mr. and Mrs. Grover were born four children, being Mrs. A. Masterson, Mrs. J. Fortner, Len and Fred Grover.
In May 1918 Mrs. Grover was married to Otis Beardsley moving from here to Clearwater, where they had since made their home. Mrs. Beardsley was taken sick about two months ago, since which time she gradually failed, death resulting on December 3rd. Besides the relatives named Mrs. Beardsley leaves three brothers and one sister to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Beardsley will be remembered by many in Park Rapids as a kindly, considerate woman, generous and always willing to assist others when assistance was needed. The sympathy of many friends is extended to the relatives.
