  • Obituary: Hubbard County Clipper, July 20, 1905 DIED GROVER- At his home in Park Rapids, Sunday evening, July 16, 1905, from kidney trouble, Thomas Jefferson Grover, aged 49 years. The deceased was born in Wilton, Waseca County, Minn., July 24, 1856. He was married Aug. 2, 1874, to Rebecca A. Tripp, of Troy, Winona County, Minn. Four children were born to them, all of whom are married. They are, Mrs. Ada Masterson of Park River, N. D., Leonard W. of Ashby, Fred V. of Bowden, N. D., and Mrs. Cora Fortner of Park Rapids. Mr. Grover was the oldest of a family of seven brothers and three sisters, all of whom, with the aged father, survive him. He had been a resident of Park Rapids for the past several years and had won the friendship and esteem of all who knew him. He was a member of the Modern Woodman and United Workman orders, in both of which he carried insurance. The funeral occurred today at 10 o'clock from the Baptist church, Rev. W. T. Milliken conducting the service. The remains were laid to rest in Greenwood cemetery.
