His wife predeceased him just 3 months ago. He is survived by 2 sons: Robie and Carrol, both of Granville Centre; 1 daughter, Hazel of Waverley, Mass. and 6 grandchildren. When a young man he taught school, later settled down on his farm where he laboured as long as health permitted and where he passed away. The funeral was on Saturday afternoon, Reverend L Wright, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating, with burial in Granville Centre cemetery.
