Born in MacPhee's Corner, he was a son of the late Ezra and Catherine (MacPhee) MacPhee. He was a member of MacPhee's Corner United Church. He was employed in the logging industry, as a carpenter, and with the Department of Transportation, for a number of years as a highway foreman. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn (Dalrymple); daughters, Judy Miller, Shubenacadie; Diane Stoddart (Robert), Mill Village; four grandchildren, Mark Miller, Sheri Miller. Derek Stoddart and Andrea Stoddart; sisters, Della Weeks, Berwick; Lucy Cox, Truro. He was predeceased by sisters, Etta, Bessie, Eva, Ethel; brothers, Cyril, Wendell, Harry, Ralph. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, February 21, funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, both in Ettingers Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. Eric Bacon officiating.
