Evelyn - 80, Shubenacadie, passed away in Serenity Lodge, Enfield, July 11, 2006. Born in East Gore, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Olla (MacAskill) Dalrymple, Evelyn was a devoted member of MacPhee's Corner United Church. She was a devoted mother and loyal wife to her husband, a constant companion during his long illness and a loyal and constant helpmate during his working years. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Judy (Angus) MacDonald, West Gore; Diane (Bob) Stoddart, Shubenacadie; grandchildren, Mark and Sheri Miller, Derek and Andrea Stoddart; sisters, Pauline Fraser, Nine Mile River; Rita (Bill) Misener, Hammonds Plains; Blanche Grant, East Gore; Ruth (Jack) Laycock, St. Stephen, N.B.; Inez Bateyko, Vancouver, B.C.; brothers, Bert, Ross and Blair, all of East Gore; many nieces and nephews and special sister-in-law, Lucy Cox, Truro. She was predeceased by her husband, Elisha MacPhee; sister Audrey Davis. Visitation today 7-9 p.m. with funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, both in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Dale Crawford.
