Born at Dayspring, she was the former Emma Naugler, a daughter of the late Alvin and Mary (Emeneau) Naugler. She was a member of Saint Matthew's Anglican Church and an honourary member of Saint Matthew's Altar Guild. She is survived by seven daughters, Delia (Mrs. Ernest Fraser) and Mrs. (Mrs. Ross Schmeisser) Middle LaHave; Thelma (Mrs. Carmen Reid), Halifax; Kathleen (Mrs. Clarence Mailman), Ottawa; Doris (Mrs. Harry Hayward), Upper LaHave; Jean (Mrs. Jerald R. Corkum), at home; Karen (Mrs. David Wilkie), Dartmouth; three sons, Reg, Dayspring; Harold, Dartmouth; Arnold, Pictou; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Weagle, Conquerall Bank; Mrs. Annie Langille, Dayspring; 42 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 Wednesday in St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Upper LaHave, Rev. Greg Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in the Dayspring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Matthew's Anglican Church.
