Sister Hopkins, nee ARMSTRONG, early home was near Bridgewater, Annapolis Co., N.S. She was among the earliest settlers of the upper part of the St. John Valley. She was baptized by Elder Chase McMullen, F.C.B. who labored in connection with Elder Lothrop Hammond among the early settlers of this region. Sister Hopkins became a member of the Andover Baptist Church nearly sixty years ago at its organization. A large family of sons and daughters mourn their loss.
