Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Warren Sr. and Irma (Wilson) Hyslop. Shirley was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Sackville, and secretary for the Windsor Junction Community Centre and Riverlake Hockey Association. She was also the choir leader at the United Church in Windsor Junction as well as a Girl Guide leader for many years. She was also an avid knitter. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Marilyn (James) Riggs, Beaver Bank; Andrea (Dann) Little, Sackville; Terri, Halifax; sons, Paul (Janet), Bryan (Ruth); sister, Gloria Fraser, Florida; brother, Roderick Hyslop, Moncton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Raymond LeFresne, and brother, Warren Hyslop Jr.
