Born in East Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Chesley and Beatrice (Worthen) Hines. She resided in Windsor Junction most of her life, the past 35 years were spent in Admiral Rock and Shubenacadie. She was active as a member and treasurer of her church, both in Windsor Junction and Admiral Rock. She was a member of the Home and School while her children attended. Blanche enjoyed reading, gardening and her friends, as her home was always full. Surviving are her sons, Laurie (Bernadette), Sutton, Ont.; Donald (Lynda), Kinsac; Richard, Shubenacadie; daughters, Marion Fazio, Stewiacke; Linda (Russell Coady) Vaughan, Shubenacadie, with whom she resided the past five years; Anne (Keith) Weir, Malagash; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; sister, Willetta Porier, Boston, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, George Alfred Dalrymple; great-grandson, Robert. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Main St., Shubenacadie, M. Dale Crawford DLM officiating. Donations may be made to Admiral Rock Cemetery Fund.
