Obituary: Smith, Donald Clare \endash 79, 160 Braemar Dr., Dartmouth, died Sunday in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Saskatchewan, he was a son of the late Albion and Dora (McGill) Smith. He was a flight lieutenant with the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Club, VE1CC. He was self-employed. He is survived by four sons; John, Robert, both of Wilton, N.Y.; David, Ross, both of Dartmouth; a daughter, Helen (Mrs. Hurley Langille) Lake Echo; a brother, Dr. Charles Smith, Ottawa; several grandchildren; a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Florence Ross; a son, Donald; a sister, Helena. The body is in J. Albert Walker and Sons Funeral Home, Dartmouth, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, First Baptist Church, Ochterloney Street, Rev. D. Watt officiating. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
