  • Obituary: Eva "Vera" (Wallace) Bough, 101, of Farmington, widow of Richard B. Bough, died Tuesday (August 3, 2010) at Farmington Care Center. Eva was born in Port Elgin, Province of New Brunswick, Canada on February 19, 1909 and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Chambers) Wallace. She resided in Bristol most of her life before moving to Farmington three years ago. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, Forestville, and was a 62 year member of Olivet Chapter #29 Order of Eastern Star. Prior to retiring she was employed at Sessions Clock Company and New Departure-Hyatt, Division of General Motors. Eva is survived by a son-in-law, Edward Paradise and his wife Joyce of Southington; seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Dorothy (Bough) Duval and Elizabeth May (Bough) Paradise, and three brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Officers and members of the Order Of Eastern Star Olivet Chapter #29 are ask to assemble at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The Hartford Courant Hartford,CT August 5, 2010
