He is survived by his devoted wife, Hazel (Cole) of 56 years; sons, Keith (Sheryl), Truro, N.S., Eric (Andrée), Ottawa, Ont.; daughters, Donna (John) Ogilvie, White Rock, B.C., Kathy (Leonard) Dykens, Windsor, N.S., Lois (Terry) Walker, Truro, N.S.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters and four brothers; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Ruth (Anthony) of Lower Selmah and by his sister, Rose. Donald will be remembered for his love of his grandchildren, fiddle music, woodworking and his pets. No visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 4th at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev. Sandra Cox officiating.
