"Russ" Hocking, formerly of Raynham, passed away March 2, 2010. He was 52 years old. Son of W. Thomas Hocking his wife Rebecca of Garland, Maine, and the late Muriel Vyska, Russ graduated from Lenox Memorial High School and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology. Russ was a talented furniture and cabinet maker. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening. He is survived by two children, Brittany Nanette Hocking and Jonathan Russell Hocking of Raynham. He was the brother of Rob Hocking and his wife Karen of Mattapoisett, Ted Hocking and his wife Sally of Baldwin, Maine, Cynthia Labonte and her husband Norman of Mattapoisett and Tom Hocking and his wife Valerie of Garland, Maine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was held March 12. Interment at the Ridge Cemetery, Port Clyde, Maine, in the spring.
