Born in Middleton, Ron was the only son of the late Rita (Phinney) and Andrew Mailman. He was the owner of R.E. Mailman Shoe Store in Middleton for over 40 years. Ron was a proud player of the clarinet and saxophone in the West Novies for many years. Along with his love of music, Ron truly enjoyed vacationing in Florida with his wife Olive where they wintered for eight years following his retirement. He was predeceased by his first wife the former Margaret Elizabeth Pineo-Messenger, daughters Noelle Geddes and Jane Messenger-Johnson. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton.
