WILLIAM T. NOAH
William T. ''Bill'' Noah of Rockaway died of a heart attack Saturday in a Tillamook hospital. He was 62.
A memorial gathering for Mr. Noah, a former resident of the Portland area, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday in the Noah family home.
Born Dec. 5, 1930, in Turner, he was raised and educated in Forest Grove. He married Eileen Kyle on July 31, 1948, in Stevenson, Wash. Mr. Noah worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for many years until his retirement as a roadmaster in 1986. He moved to Rockaway from Portland in 1989.
Survivors besides his wife include son, David of Rockaway; daughter, Jill Horn of Prentice, Wis.; brother, Edward of Forest Grove; and six grandchildren. Another son, Daniel, died in 1974.
Disposition was by cremation.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Elks Scholarship Fund in care of Waud's Funeral Home in Tillamook.
