Docia was born on August 3, 1926, in Bishop, Ca. to Orrin and Hildred Dunn, later moving to Oak-dale, Ca. She attended schools in the Modesto area and graduated in 1948 from San Jose State University with a degree in Education. She was a creative, talented teacher who loved children and learning, retiring in 1993 after nearly 40 years. Docia was the beloved mother of four children, Elsie, Kathy, Jeff and Mark. She is survived by her children, Jeff Hannel and his wife Stacy, Mark Hannel, Kathy Fletcher and her husband Harry and adopted son Jerry Anderson and his wife Sigrid; and six grand-children. A Memorial Service will be at Calvary Chapel of Fresno, 3425 E. Shields, on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Scottish Society of Central California. P.O.
