Born in North Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Lydia White. Annie enjoyed quilting and making things for her family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo and watching the Hants County Jamboree on television. Surviving are daughters, Ladene (Laurie), North Noel Road; Roma (Erick), Noel Road; Cindy (Arnold), Noel Road; sons, Douglas (Josephine), North Noel Road; Leon (Sheila), Upper Kennetcook; Kenny (Shelley), North Noel Road; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother, Cecil, Cape Breton. She was predeceased by her husband, George; daughter, Lillias; son, Cory; two children in infancy; brother, Willis, and sister, Maude. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, all in Withrow-MacMillan Funeral Home, Upper Nine Mile River, Rev. Jim Braggen officiating.
