Obituary: MacPHEE, Cora Blanche - 89, Upper Nine Mile River, passed away June 13, 2006, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Upper Rawdon, she was a daughter of the late David and Lena (Lively) MacPhee. Before her marriage, she worked as an R.N., graduating from St. Mary's Hospital in Montreal. She was an active member of St. David's Anglican Church, Upper Rawdon, taking part in many committees as well as the ACW.
Surviving are her husband, Warren; sons, Keith (Elizabeth), West Lake Ainslie; Colin (Sarah), Norman (Brenda Clare), both of Upper Nine Mile River; daughter, Cathy (Judson) Beazley, Upper Sackville; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Wilfred, Alonzo, Cecil; sisters, Frances, Phyllis and Ruth.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3-6 p.m. with funeral service Saturday at 2 p.m., both in St. David's Anglican Church, Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Centre Rawdon. Family flowers only.
Donations may be made to St. David's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Co-operative, Upper Musquodoboit.
