  • Obituary: MacPHEE, Warren Munroe '97 93, Upper Nine Mile River, passed away August 12, 2012, in Camp Hill Veter-ans' Memorial Building, QEII. Born in Upper Nine Mile River, he was a son of the late Norman and Martha (Dalrymple) MacPhee. Warren served overseas with the Pictou Highlanders. Follow-ing his service, he was a dairy farmer until his retirement. His quiet nature endeared him to everyone who knew him. Surviving are sons, Keith (Betty), West Lake Ainslie; Colin (Sarah), Norman (Shelly), both of Up-per Nine Mile River; daughter, Cathy (Judd) Beazley, Upper Sackville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchil-dren; sisters, Vera Dunbar, Hard-woodlands; Evelyn (Carl) Angevine, Bible Hill; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Cora; brothers, James, George, Clarence, Alan, Norman, Owen, Herman; sis-ters, Enith, Gertrude. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-6 p.m., and fu-neral service will be Thursday, at 3 p.m., both in St. David's Anglican Church, Upper Rawdon, Rev. Carson Baxter officiating. Burial to follow in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Centre Rawdon. Family flowers only. Dona-tions may be made to St. David's An-glican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Fu-neral Cooperative, Upper Musquodo-boit.
