Born in East Gore, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Bernice (Lively) Dalrymple. She is survived by her sons, Garth (Janice), Colin (Jenny) and Kevin (Gloria), all of East Gore. grandchildren, Rhonda (Kevin), Melissa (Kristian), Calvin (Valda) and Aimee (Jason); great-grandchildren, Colby, Annalise, Alyssa and Cody; sisters-in-law, Ruth (Foster) Roblee of Dartmouth; Emma Dalrymple of East Gore; and Betty Dalrymple of Ontario. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Donald Harvie (July 22, 2007); brothers, Clarence, Aubrey, John, Ira, Leroy and Arthur. Visitation will be held today 7-9 p.m. and funeral service Tuesday July 28 at 11 a.m. both in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354 Kennetcook, Chuck Paterson LPM officating with a private family committal service in East Gore Cemetery. Following the service family and friends are invited to the East Gore Community Hall for a time of light refreshments and reflection on Edna's life.
