Dorothy, born in Moncton, was the daughter of the late Milledge and Ida (Jonah) Milton. She was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and looking after her family. Survived by her children Brenda Crossman (Wayne) of Ottawa, ON, Larry of Riverview; cherished granddaughters Karen-Ann Crossman of Ottawa, Lyndsie Prosser (Jason Tompkins) of Fredericton and great grandchildren Brianna, Amber and Kieran; sister Joyce Milton of Moncton and brother Gerald Milton (Norma) of Riverview and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Weldon in October of 2009; sisters Verna, Hattie, Mable and Nellie; brothers Lloyd, Robert, Gordon, Ronald and Jack. There will be no visitation by request. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 1:30 pm at Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Salisbury Road with Pastor David Watson officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton. In memory of Dorothy, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
