  • Obituary: COULTER, Logan Samuel - 79, Bayhead, died October 21, 1997, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in West Tatamagouche, he was the son of the late Martin and Margaret (MacMILLAN) COULTER. He and his wife were married on August 4, 1942, and two weeks later went overseas during the Second World War, where he spent four years. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 64, Tatamagouche, and was awarded a life membership for outstanding service. He was also a member of Bayhead Union Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Estelle DOBSON; sister, Irene GLENN, Tatamagouche. He was predeceased by sister, Morna. Visitation 2-4, 7- 9 p.m. today, legion memorial service 7 p.m. today, both in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday in Bayhead Union Church. Burial in Union Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity. Served with 28th Canadian Armoured Regt.R. C.R. Enlisted May 1942 Discharged March 7th 1946 Served in Canada, United Kingdom, and North- West Europe. Awarded CVSM &C1, 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defense Medal, and Victory Medal
