Trethewey, Watford. A message was received here on the 23rd, saying that she was very low and Mr. Trethewey rushed to Halifax, but ere he reached there, the sad news came over the line that she had passed away. She was one of our loving Christian women and will be missed by her many friends as well as her family who is left to mourn their loss. She is survived by her husband and four daughters: Mrs. Hugh Molloy of New York; Mrs. Gray of Saskatchewan; Mrs. Conrad of Montreal; and Miss Minnie, at home. The funeral was postponed till the first of the year hoping that her daughters could all be present, but sickness prevented the youngest, Mrs. Conrad, from coming home. The rest were present. The services held on New Year's Day were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Bain of New Germany, assisted by the Rev. Mr. LaGrue. The body was interred at New Germany. The bereaved husband and daughters have the sympathy of the people of this vicinity.
