Born in Bowmanville, Ont., he was a son of Ronald T. and Patricia Anne (Thistle) Ross, Tatamagouche. He was a construction worker and also worked on oil rigs in Alberta periodically since 1975. He was an avid hunter. Besides his parents, he is survived by his children, Sherry Davis, Pictou; Casey, Montreal; Tricia, Coady, Sabrina, Bernard, Michael and Serenity, all of Red Deer; brothers, Sandy (Marie) and their children Harmony, Haley and Ricki; Scott (Eleanor) and daughter Jillian; Michael (Karen), Sheldon (Amber) and children Taylor and Tori; sister, Ronda (Donald Green) and children Brittany and Mason; brother Bernard's children, Ronnie and Brandy; several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by brother, Bernard; maternal grandparents, Samuel Thistle and Margaret White; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Annie (Reid) Ross. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche, Rev. Bonnie Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity.
