Obituary: ADRIAN - Kathleen E. (Stegg) Shavalia, age 60, of Adrian passed away Feb. 12, 2012, under the care of her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Shavalia; her daughter, Angela Routly; her son, John Routly; her father, Leo Stegg; her siblings, Dale (Char) Stegg, Brad (Elaine) Stegg, Steve Stegg, Sue (John) Nye; numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Vicky Atkinson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Stegg, on Sept. 27, 2010.
Kathy loved playing steel darts and was member of the Jackson Michigan Euchre Traveling Club.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Adrian, with Fr. David Hudgins presiding. She will laid rest at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
