  • Obituary: Lewis William Curry, age 85, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital on February 18. Son of the late Lewis W. and Elsie (Shepardson) Curry. Born March 6, 1919 in Foxboro. Attended Foxboro Public Schools. Worked for 30 years for the Foxboro Company as calibrator. Retired in 1981. Also worked as a dairy farmer for his father in S. Foxboro. Mr. Curry was the first bus driver employed by the Foxboro School System. Mr. Curry was also on the Foxboro Police Reserve for many years. He was a member of the Foxboro Company's 10 and 25 Year clubs. Mr. Curry is survived by his beloved wife, Mary R. (Kane) Curry; three children; Roger and his wife Cheryl Curry of Fla., Gordon and his wife Joanie Curry of Foxboro, and Diane and her husband Robert Drew of Lakeville. Father of the late Marine Lance Cpl. Robert Curry, who was killed in action in Vietnam on March 30, 1967. Brother of Frederick " Ted" Curry of Foxboro. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. Foxboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 23 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street, Mansfield. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield. Donations in Mr. Curry's memory may be made to the Foxboro Police Relief Association, PO Box 141, Foxboro, MA 02035.
