Death: After an operation for appendicitis
Obituary: The friends of Samuel Ridge Strattan, of Washington, D. C., will learn with sorrow of a sad bereavement which came to his family the past month. His son, George W. Strattan, who was located at Seattle, Washington, died on February 12, 1910, leaving a wife and one child. Mr. Strattan will be conscious of having the warmest sympathy of his Clarion county friends.

Since publishing the notice of the death of Geo. W. Strattan, son of Samuel R. Strattan of Washington, D. C., in our last issue we have learned the following particulars. Mr. Strattan died in Vancouver, British Columbia, following an operation for appendicitis, on Saturday, Feb. 12, 1910. The deceased was married and leaves his wife and one child, Howard Worrall Strattan, and one brother, Ruloff R., and two sisters, Mabel L. Strattan and Mrs. Edith A. Williams.
