Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Tina, of 31 years in 2008 and a sister, Emily Vallee-Hamilton, in 2001. Mr. George was born September 12, 1947 in Laconia, N.H., the son of the late Phyllis J. (Manning) and Charles E. George Jr. He was a lifetime resident of Laconia, worked at the Belknap Mill, the Laconia State School and had been employed at the New Hampshire State Hospital and Glencliff House for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1993 He loved his animals, cutting firewood, driving around on his golf cart and loved the outdoors. He leaves behind his son, Karl George, and his wife, Mary, of Meredith; his sister, Polly Granger, and her husband, John, of Laconia and his younger sister, Nina Smith, and her husband, Wayne , of Belmont, N.H. A graveside service for Ralph and Tina will be held in the spring at the Middleneck Cemetery, Moultonboro. There will be no calling hours.
