The daughter of Arthur and Freda (Steadman) Farrington, Mrs. Merrigan was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Milton, Mass. She also lived in Randolph, Mass., before moving to Allenstown in 1982. She had been employed by Howard Johnson's in Canton, Mass., and as a sales associate for Bradlees in Concord. She was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church and was also involved as a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Members of her family include a daughter, Christine Adams of Allenstown; a son, Thomas Merrigan of North Providence, R.I.; and two grandsons, Thomas Jr. and Patrick. Calling hours will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sunrise Baptist Church in Allenstown. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Peter Mehegan officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke.
