Jim was born October 24, 1952, in Fergus Falls, the son of Ernest and Elsie (Burns) Logan. He graduated from Ashby High School in 1972. He enjoyed metal detecting for "treasures," fishing, hunting and playing various games on the computer. He also enjoyed spending time having "pots" of coffee with friends, and playing with his grandchildren. He volunteered as an elementary wrestling coach, and also volunteered at the Salvation Army. Jim most enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered as everyone's dad and "PaPa." Anyone that crossed Jim's path in life loved him.
