He grew up in Elbow Lake where he attended school. Later in life, Roger was proud to have earned his GED. On May 27, 1977, Roger was united in marriage to Joyce Poole at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood. The couple made their home in Lowry, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with seven children. Roger was employed at several places throughout his life, but most recently he worked at Dycast Specialties in Starbuck, Minnesota for 13 years before his retirement. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and bowling. He especially loved spending time with his family. Roger will be remembered for his caring heart, his hardworking work ethic and his laughter. Roger died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at home under the care of hospice surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial was held December 5th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood with Father Joe Vandeberg officiating. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Glenwood. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joyce Logan; sons, Mike (Deb) Logan, Scott (Barb) Logan, James Logan, Roger (Jen) Logan Jr., and Lance (Danielle) Logan; daughters, Tammy (Craig) Schwinghamer and Lori (Miles) Westergard; 13 grandchildren; sisters: Darlene Lillis, Marie Logan, Betty (Doug) Dandurand, Carol (Roger) Torguson, Delores Kvitek, and Ginny Logan; brothers: Dean (Ann) Logan, John Logan, Charles Logan, Laverne Logan, Dale (Vicky) Logan and Robert (Jean) Loga; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
