Nations Mackey in Upshur County, Texas. He was married to Marilyn Virginia McClaren Mackey on July 4, 1961. He was a Minister of the Gospel in Churches of Christ for 38 years. Charlie preached in Oceola, TX; Dighton, KS; Apache, OK; Dale, OK; Seymour, TX; Lee's Summit, MO; Springfield, MO; Anadarko, OK; Sand Hill, TX; Bastrop, LA; Colby, KS; Concordia, KS; South Paris, ME; White Hall, AR; Pine Bluff, AR; and Belle Plaine, KS. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Karen Mackey and his brother Gary Mackey. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home in Belle Plaine, Kansas; two sons: Kevin Mackey and wife Sallie of Branson, Mo; Jeff Mackey of Houston, TX; and two granddaughters: Amanda and Katie Mackey of Branson, MO. He is also survived by a sister Lorena Mackey and several nieces. A Celebration of Life was held at the Belle Plaine Church of Christ.
