Born in Pleasant Hills, Colchester County, she was a daughter of the late Byers and Annie (Murphy) Knight. She was a longtime resident of Bass River and a member of Bass River United Church. She is survived by her husband Bernard; four daughters, Yvonne (Mrs. Glen Hazel), Helen, (Peggy) Fraser, Dianne Ryan, all of Bass River; Linda (Mrs. Logan Elliott), Economy; a son Dennis, Bass River; a brother, Raymond, Portapique Mountain; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ralph; two sisters, Alma, Myrtle; a brother, Harold. The body is in Bass River Baptist Church, visiting 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. 'Wednesday, Rev. Harry Ward officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bass River Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be made to Bass River Baptist Church, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or any charity.
