Obituary: 83, Halifax, died January 26, 1996, in Veterans Memorial Building, Camp Hill Medical Centre, Halifax. Born in Nottingham, England, he was a son of the late Harry and Lillian Legg. He owned and operated Provincial Electric Limited for 25 years, retiring in 1969. He was actively involved with the Electric Service League and Electrical Contractors Association, serving a term as president. He was a former member of the board of trade of the Illuminating Enginering Society; longtime member of Chester Golf Club and Maritime Seniors Golf Association. He founded Sunset Bowling League in 1949 and was a member at the time of his death. He was a member of Bethany United Church. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice (Fader); son, Robert, daughter-in-law, Lynne (O'Flaherty) and granddaughters, Kimberley and Stephanie Legg, Halifax. He was predeceased by brothers, Clifford, Christopher, Harold, Ernest.
