  • Obituary: Mrs. W. H. Noble - South Farmington, Jan 26 - There passed away at her home here early Wednesday morning, Jan. 23rd, Agnes (Pineo) Noble, wife of W.H. Noble, at the age of 63 years. The late Mrs. Noble was born in Hants County, the daughter of Thomas Lewis and Mary Martha (Robinson) Pineo, but had moved to the Annapolis Valley fifteen years ago. The funeral was held from the home Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Theodore Ross, United Church, Kingston, assisted by Julian Green of the Kingston Bible College. To mourn their loss and cherish the memory of a sincere Christian wife and mother are the husband; six children, W.J. Tennyson, Wilmot. Mary M. at home, Mrs Evelyn Eisan, Meadowvale, Homer C., Robt. H., Wilmot, and Theodore S. at home. Four children predeceased her - two sons in infancy, and James Edward and George Ross who gave their lives in the Great War. A sister Mrs Lorenah Scott, Halifax, two brothers, Ezekiel Pineo, Halifax, James Pineo, Tacoma, Wash., and eight grandchildren also survive. Interment was at North Kingston.
