Charles Robert (Bob) MacDonald, 53, of Pictou, died Sunday, Mar. 20, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Pictou, he was a son of Orphy (MacPhail) MacDonald and the late Maurice MacDonald. He served with the Canadian Army and for more than 20 years, he worked in the Yukon and Labrador as a
trucker and heavy equipment operator. Besides his mother in Pictou, he is survived by ex-wife, Leigh Wildman, Surrey, B.C.; three sons, Maurice, Logan Lake, B.C.; Robert and Wayne, both of Surrey; two sisters, Gail (Mrs Donald Rutledge), Oakville, Ont.; Emma Lee (Mrs. James MacCormack), Antigonish; four brothers, Bill, Portland, Ore.; Winston, Ottawa; Wayne, Vernon Bridge, P.E.I.; Dewey, Pictou; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his second wife, the former Lydia Langille. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Mar. 22, in Pictou United
