Born in Wallace Bridge, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Annie (Heughen) Chambers. She is survived by daughters, Margo MacAleese (Allison), New Prospect; Elizabeth Marshall, Mississauga, Ont.; Paulette Black, Oxford; Kathy Gauci, Amherst; sons, Paul Bennett (Pam), Kentville; Danny Landers (Leanne), Alberta; Rick and Mike Krumrei, both of Truro; a sister, Mabel Canning (Burgess), Bedford; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; a daughter, Ella; a grandson, Richard; sisters, Dorothy, Florence; brothers, Robert, John, Harry and James. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday [February 15, 2010] at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in Christ Church Cemetery, Parrsboro Roads at a later date.
