Born in Barss Corner, he was a son of the late Twining and Bessie (Mossman) Haines. He was a farmer for most of his life and was a member of Barss Corner Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife, the former Muriel Tupper, are three sons, Edmund, Ottawa; Clinton and Stanley, both of Barss Corner; a daughter, Rosamond (Mrs. Colin MacKay), Boise, Idaho; a sister, Helen (Mrs.Durward Tupper), Lake George; four grandchildren. The body is at H.C. Lindsay's Fuenral Home, Berwick, and wil be transferred to Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany Tuesday afternoon. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Barss Corner Baptist Church. Burial will be in Barss Corner Cemetery.
