OBITUARY: Mrs. William E. DeBaie Amherst - Mrs. William Edward DeBaie, 65, Brookdale, died Friday at the Highland View Hospital. Born in Lynn, Cumberland County, she was the former Stella Beatrice Meekins. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Corey Pettigrew) Brookdale; Irene (Mrs. Harold Johnson), Cranbrook, B.C.; two sisters, Ethel (Mrs. Ira Elliott) Economy; Mrs. Edith Henwood, West Bay, Cumberland County; two brothers, Ryias [sic], Lynn, Cumberland County; and Willikers [sic], Economy; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond, Economy. The body is at Furlong's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., in Christ Church, Rev. H.M.A. Westin will officiate. Committal will be in Highland View Cemetery Receiving Vault with interment in the cemetery in the spring.
