She is survived by her husband, Russell; daughters, June Lewis (Lawson), Lower Five Islands; Shirley Eagles, Lower Five Islands; Vera Boudreau (Paul), Dartmouth; Bona Wadman, Halifax; Flora "Chum" Eagles (Berton), Five Islands; sons, Emerson Dowe (Linda), Five Islands; Gordon Dowe (Alberta), Five Islands; sisters, Iva, Peterborough, Ont.; Bonah, Kentville; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Hardy Dowe; daughters, Madeline and Barbara Ann; a son, Russell; sisters, Levada, Flora, Rena, Maxine; brother, Mansel. Visitation 1-2 p.m. Friday at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Family flowers only.
