Born in Oxford, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Lalia (Carter) Cove. She was a member of the Salvation Army since the 1940's and was a pastor for 17 years. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Waterland, Woodstock, Ont.; Lalia Yorke (Donald), Stewiacke; Alicia Clarke (David Waterland), Parrsboro; Ruth Perrin, Parrsboro; a son, Stephen (Peggy), Woodstock, Ont.; chosen daughters, Wendy Bragg (Carl), Collingwood; Laura Fowler (Dave), Toronto; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. William Moore; a son, Major "Mike" Moore; sisters, Hazel, Wilma, Ivy; brothers, Murray, Manford, Ernest, Charles, Bly. Visitation 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Sunday [August 10, 2008] at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday [August 11, 2008] at the Parrsboro Baptist Church, Capt. Jamie Hillier of the Salvation Army and Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
