Born at Wallace River she was a daughter of the late Ora and Clara (Langille) Scott. Hilda taught school for several years, worked at Sunset Adult Residential Centre and the Pugwash Co op. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are her husband, Melvin Stevens, Pugwash Jct.; her children, Stephen (Peggy) Stevens, Pugwash; Bruce Stevens, Hammonds Plains; Craig (Wanda) Stevens, Pugwash Jct.; Bonnie Stevens (Phillip Prall), Pugwash Jct.; grandchildren, Brandon Trenholm, Ethan Prall, Dawson Prall, Brianna Prall, Donald Langille, Amanda Langille, Joey Stevens, Emma Stevens, Olivia Stevens; several great-grandchildren; sister's, Helen Greenwood; Jean Gayton; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Roland and Lloyd Scott; sisters, Ida Lewis, Freda Patriquin and Hazel Trenholm. The family would like to thank all the VON nurses and healthcare workers for their support during this difficult time. In keeping with Hilda's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Canada.
