Born at Paradise 78 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Avard Longley. Following her school graduation in Paradise, she went to Boston where she graduated in 1900 from the Boston City Hospital in nursing. In 1902 she married Reuben T. Wallace, of Wolfville, where she made her home and where she was active in community temperance and church work. During the past 10 years she had spent considerable time in our community. She was of a kindly disposition, beloved by all who knew her, ever ready to help in church and community; she will be greatly missed. In 1940 she was made an honorary member of the Wolfville Branch of the Sons of Temperance and was awarded the fifty year jewel. Being a Past Worthy Patriarch of Branch 122, she served for sixty years in this cause. She was a member of the Torbrook Baptist Church and a member of the W.M.A.S.
