R. Langille, 76, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, in Bible Hill yesterday. Born in French river, Colchester County, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Langille. He was a merchant in Westchester Station for a number of years before coming to Truro and entering the insurance business in 1929. He was still carrying on his insurance agency at the time of his death. His wife, a former Edna Williams of Westchester, and brother Douglas, are dead. He is survived by two daughters, one son [descendent information removed] four brothers, Walter, Needham Massachusetts; Robert, Toronto; Fred, French river; Frank, Westchester Station; two sisters, Janie (Mrs. J. V. Hudson), Newark New Jersey; and Elizabeth, (Mrs. Murray Salter), Tatamagouche. His body is at the Kennedy Memorial residents, Truro, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. A. S. Rockwell officiating. Interment will be in the Watson Cemetery.
