Siegl, 87, of Hillcrest Avenue, a lawyer and a former probate judge in Johnston, died Sunday at Fogarty Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Gladys (Leigh) Siegl. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Hallowell) Siegl. Born in Budapest, Hungary, a son of Hugo and Therese (Sifrik) Siegl, he formerly lived in Johnston for 16 years. Mr. Siegl was a graduate of Northeastern University. He was a member of the firm of Henshaw, Lindemouth and Siegl, Providence, for 43 years before retiring in 1961. He was a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, two daughters, two brothers, a sister, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
